THE WORLD'S BIGGEST CLASSIC MOTOR RACING FESTIVAL
After attending Silverstone classic over the past 20 years it has become apparent that the ALPINA register has reached a point where it needs to be recognised as not only part of the BMW Car Club GB but also an individual register.
During a recent survey a poll showed a desire for 78% to have a separate representation at events. Therefore, taking into account these results and after dialogue with owners it has been decided to have an ALPINA register area at the 2020 Silverstone Classic. I will be organising the event and working closely with Neil & Charles to make sure that ALPINA is represented in the best possible way.
If you have never attended the Silverstone Classic it has been growing every year and today it is the World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival with around 1500 cars racing in over 24 different races celebrating a racing heritage from the 1920’s to 2000’s. A central feature of the event will be your ability to, “Access All Areas” of the grandstands, car paddocks and race assembly areas meaning you can get right up close to the thrill of the cars and chat to the drivers. This year Silverstone classic celebrates 30 years since its first event.
Off track there will be in excess of 9'000 classic cars on display from over 100 car clubs. A rare opportunity to admire famous marques such as Aston Martin, Jaguar and Bentley etc. (Not forgetting BMW and ALPINA !!) Bookings can be made online at -- www.silverstoneclassic.com OR by phone to 0871 2310849 Remember to quote the club code early on to ensure you get the correct price offers.
This code is only valid until May 31st and you MUST book using code 2020CCD090. The CCD package is the only way to obtain a relevant display pass for the event. Tickets purchased after the May deadline, or without a valid CCD code, will be forced to park outside the circuit and some significant distance from the action.
Once you have ordered your tickets with Silverstone please add your name, ALPINA model to the list below.
Also stating which days you will be attending.
Can I please ask you NOT to add yourself to this list if you haven’t booked with Silverstone.
This list is only for those that have booked and paid. It is the only way I can keep track of who’s coming.
