Try this :
And the winner is Achitophel

"With hindsight, the professor realised he should have been suspicious when the ad promised open-top motoring at more than 100 mpg!"
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

The new Alpina based on the 1 series caught on camera in secret testing.
B10 V8 no 609. Sadly sold for Chrysler 300CSRT8 Touring. Not a patch on the Alpina, but big bang per buck!
now back in a BMW 540i sport

Now that Mrs Lovibond has finally taken to driving the Alpina, and with the other seats taken up with his vast brood of kids, our beloved Mr Lovibond has a great idea for keeping up on family trips. "See, he joyfully points out, it even has Alpina stripes, of a sort..." and follows it up with "And the combined mileage of this beauty and my well run-in B3 is STILL better than that old French barge that fits us all in".
I'll get my coat. Apologies in advance Charles!

Russia's version of Top Gear didn't quite have the glitz nor the glamour of the series over here, but their take on James May was pretty acurate.

But my first twisted idea for the caption was

Nice one
I was thinking along similar lines but I must be getting pc in my old age since I decided against it.
