The joys of the annual renewal dance!

Post by Charles » Sat Sep 23, 2017 3:56 pm

£261 for the B3S this year - based on 20k miles pa, agreed value of £13k, loads of NCB and no nasties in terms of licence and accidents.

All part of a three car multi policy with Admiral, which includes the ALPINA, an Espace and a Polo for my wife, myself and both boys to drive (one of whom is 18yo and been driving for less than a year).

I did, of course, have to phone up and laugh at the original renewal price which achieved an immediate 20% discount across the board - but that's now par for the course.

Had the same problem here with Admiral a few weeks ago, renewal arrived and a 34% increase. After the yearly phone call ended with a rise of 3%.

One of their big killers is to protect your NCB has gone from just over £3 per car to over £22 per car.

Happy in the end though but annoyed I have to make the phone call every year.
