Alpina D3 boot lids lettering

Post by m4mike » Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:59 am

Hi, I have my Alpina D3 from new (#420) and now on 223k very enjoyable driver miles - on original clutch - which is just starting to chatter.
Somebody hit the back a few weeks so I need to replace the boot lid and rear spoiler which I’ve now got and need new alpina d3 chrome letters.
Does anybody have any suggestions for best quality match away from the stealers or ideas for improvement whilst I’m tidying it back up please?

Thanks fir reading!
Mike

Mike,

I changed the boot on my B3 a couple of years ago. I sourced the boot badges off ebay. Made in Thailand, i was a bit apprehensive as to the quality. They were £65, needn't have worried they were a quality product. Originals were expensive. Yer may not get the D3 part but for 65 pound it's worth having the Alpina and getting the D3 from Alpina?

There is a boot lid with badges available on eBay from copart. May make life easier. Choice of 2.
