SOLD - Four Alpina 19" wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin Winter Tyres

Post by b0ardgamer » Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:13 pm

These came from my (late lamented) B4s, so will fit F30/F32.

Fronts are 8J x 19 EH2 (part no. 01 36 11 248), rears are 9J x 19 EH2 (part no. 01 36 11 249). Very good condition - one has a small kerbing (see picture of wheel 3). A few other small marks as you would expect, but nothing significant - check out the photos.

Tyres are Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 Winter Tyres, 245/35R 19 93W all round. I don't have a good way to measure tread depth, but I reckon ~6mm on all tyres (a bit more on most).

Sold with tyre covers shown (including the pieces of cardboard I added to give the faces some protection!).

Complete set £950. Collection (from IP12) is preferred, as I'd rather you saw the wheels rather than relying on my descriptions, but I'm willing to work with a carrier if you can find someone to pick them up unpacked (eg Simpson Transport seem to have a good reputation).

Oh, and in case it isn't obvious from the photos, wheel centres are not included.

Interested to note that you have the same width tyres on different width wheels - any particular reason why?

It seems to be the Alpina recommendation - on the B5 they recommend a 255 all round even though the front wheels are 8.5J and the rears are 9.5J. Assume it’s the same with the B4.

I think that seems a very fair price for the wheels and tyres. I was tempted to go with some 19” winters for a while but decided on 20s in the end. Could have saved myself a few quid! Good luck with the sale.

I have sent you another PM
B3 BiTurbo Cabrio #121 (E93) + Quaife ATB LSD
X1 2.0 Twin-Scroll Turbo xDrive #zillion (F48) ... really useful, if only an XB1 existed !

--- but when you are up to your ears in alligators it can be relatively difficult to remember that your original idea was to drain the swamp --- hmmm

Just read the story on your car. I’d seen it advertised and wondered what had happened. It’s a stunning car, sorry to see what happened to it....
