Just for today, as I'm getting new brake disks installed on the B3.

Not too bad to drive. Nothing happens under 4000rpm. It does 90mph in 3rd

I'm amazed by the fuel consumption: 6.1l/100km (46mpg) during this morning's commute, whereas the Alpina does 9.8 (29).

The kids liked the suicide door on the passenger side. My four-year-old liked the Mini so much, she said I should keep it and get rid of the Alpina. I think not.

Rear visibility is cr*p, due to the small, split rear window.

Bit of a problem with the door in the UK as your kids have to get out into the road

With the door, I am surprised that DOT allowed the car to be sold in the UK. It is like saying that it is acceptable to have the passengerâ€™s doors on a bus on the offside.
