A white one will soon be keeping company to my black D3 ALPINA!
Great I am pleased to see that my choice has the approval of the ALPINA people!!!

Both Jags are fine
The blue with the winter tyres has done 10,000 miles since last October and will not be used from now on other than to keep it running once every 3 weeks.
The green is now ready for work action on a daily basis until beginning of October.
The D3 will be used for European trips for work/seminars and of course for the 50 years of ALPINA.
The STi will be used for winter driving off motorways on B-roads, when necessary, as I needed something that will "straighten" the bends irrespective of weather or other conditions, as the poor blue Jag with its 260,000 miles (417.000km) has started to suffer and I don't want to wreck its autobox...again

Wow. And what's the figure of fuel consumption, if I may ask?B10BRW wrote: The only downside with a Subaru is the consumption
We have a Legacy 3.0 RN Tourer, the MPG around town is eye watering

Our Legacy has an unblown flat six rather than a turbo flat 4, but we struggle to get more than 18 mpg on short trips.I_MNL wrote:Wow. And what's the figure of fuel consumption, if I may ask?B10BRW wrote: The only downside with a Subaru is the consumption

Max we have ever achieved on long runs is 26 mpg, very rarely see that sort of consumption
