Alpina Sold - And its goodnight from him
i finally sold my D3 Mono turbo yesterday, and will be moving away from Alpina for the time being as the price differential between the D3 mono and bi-turbos is too great for my budget.
i have therefore placed a deposit on a 335d, and will still pop on here to report my findings.
thanks to all for their help and advice over the last 2 years.
Finally, congratulations to Mac and Victor on their new purchases, both cars look the part with interesting specs. Good luck Duncan with your Supercharger issue.

I had a 335d and remapped it, it was very very fast indeed. doesnt ride aswell as ALPINAs but you can ditch the runflats and put on the same tyres as ALPINA put on the D3 and the ride is much improved.imprezarb5 wrote:i finally sold my D3 Mono turbo yesterday, and will be moving away from Alpina for the time being as the price differential between the D3 mono and bi-turbos is too great for my budget.

No run flats as the car already has AC Schnitzer alloys. I doubt i will ever match the Alpina suspension, but an ACS suspension setup is one of the first things under consideration along with an ACS exhaust for consistency purposes.
Remap to follow.
need to colour code those chrome window surrounds too.

Thanks and congratulations,
I think you'll notice a big increase in power and torque with your new car. Looks nice spec from the picture- ? beige dakota with sat nav etc?
Its a good choice. Get DMS to remap it and you'll be laughing
keep us in touch
Cheers

Keep the chrome it looks well with the SS alloy outers, unless you want the Darth Vader look, spend the money on the engine upgrade, and tell us you did the right thing.
Personally it look the dogs and hope you enjoy it.
