Very interesting thread, as I’m now on 172k I’m resisting the temptation to bookmark this thread and perhaps tempt fate.

Does anyone have any updates on theTC ?
82,000 miles and it’s time 😞

As mentioned elsewhere on the forum, it appears that new TCs are NLA from either Alpina or ZF. As such, the only way to deal with TC problems is to have it refurbished. I would also recommend having the valve chest tested/overhauled at the same time.

For those near London, I would recommend Stephens Engineering near Ware in Hertfordshire
