Decals and emblem on b3 e92 2008

Post by Dennis11540 » Fri Jan 20, 2023 3:43 pm

Hi Guys,

My first post here.

Just buyed an Alpina B3 e92 from 2008, It misses the Alpina emblems on the front bumper and the trunk. I also looking to put the side decals.

I have found a seller on Ebay that selling the front badge but its 2 sizes avaliable, does the pre lci has 300 or 360mm emblem?

Regarding the badges on the bumper, does anyone know some aftermarket with good quality or is it better to go for the oem?

I also looking for some side decors, someone that you guys could recomend? preferably in Europe so I dont need to pay taxes.

Best regards
Dennis (Sweden).

The front bumper spoiler lip ALPINA emblem is 360mm for the E92 coupe. You will pay a fortune for the “ALPINA” boot/trunk badges though, I was lucky and an owner sold me a Genuine spare “ALPINA” badge on eBay for 70GBP but the “B3 BiTurbo” was over 100 GBP from a dealer, again the aftermarket chrome silver items made in China don’t look genuine.

Always go for genuine BMW roundels for the bonnet, it is the 2 pin 82mm badge number 51148132375, the BMW boot roundel is the 2 pin 74mm badge number 51147146015 and a unique fit for the E92 as it has it’s own contoured back the aftermarket Alpina roundels “look” aftermarket - they are slightly incorrect too as there is a gap between the white centre and silver inner ring, genuine roundels e.g., for the steering wheel, don’t have that gap, the aftermarket badges only last a couple of years outside before fading and every Alpina owner will know they are Chinese.

Saying that I’ve one on the iDrive controller that others would frown upon, but looks OK to me.

For the side dekor stripes, drop Simon - SPA69 - on here a message, he provides quality dekor aftermarket kits I believe.

If you need the Alpina B3 BiTurbo genuine parts pdf, PM me your email address I will send it to you.

Welcome to Alpina ownership and the forum! You’ve made a great choice of car too!

Thanks Bob, my mistake as I thought it was the D3 BiTurbo only for the E90, not the B3, great they are all together.

Hello to all :)

Just a small and short question :

I totaly forgot if the following reference ALPINA embleme chrome 51 00 246 was in metal or plastic ? since 2018 I sold my car and it's impossible to remind me which material was used on it...

Thanks a lot for your reply and have a nice day

All the E90/1/2/3 boot emblems are plastic and then chrome plated.
