Learning more about my 1972 Alpina b3

The place to talk about ALPINAs.
e.g. News, Reviews, Insurance, Warranties, Running Costs, Sightings, general questions etc.

Learning more about my 1972 Alpina b3

Post by aloysius3 » Sun Dec 04, 2022 2:54 am

I am eager to learn more about how many 1972 Alpina b3’s were made (off the 3.0CS BMW body), I am eager to learn anything and all about these cars.
I am lucky enough to enjoy one…and cannot sort how rare they are, how many are still on the road, etc.
any advice welcome.
Thank you

i'd contact Alpina? i think records on these age of cars is very sketchy as there was no set conversions back then. Alpina offered everything ie tuned engines bigger brakes, different seats, wheels etc and you could choose what you wanted to have fitted so there are very few fully fettled cars in existance.
