F30 D3 Oil

Hi All

I need to top up the oil in my 2014 F30 D3 but am somewhat confused which oil to use, any recommendations?

I’ve always used Castrol M 5w30 in mine. Any of the Castrol Edge 5w30 with LL04 specification should be fine

Not ever had to top mine up.... but I do buy the bmw oil 0w 30 for twin turbos. My indie had difficulty in getting oil at the last service so I buy it in advance via eBay from Fairbairns in Glasgow. I bought what was supposed to be LL04 from Euro carparts but it was Castrol??? although it was same oil Alpina recommended , it no longer had the LL04 so I returned it.
