New Member - F10 D5 BiTurbo #156 (Alpina Green)

Hi All,

Finally pulled the plug on my first Alpina after an 18 hour road trip to collect it from Inverness. I believe it’s the only F10 D5 in Alpina Green in the UK but I could be wrong.

Huge thanks to all the info on here as I saw it had sat at the dealer for a couple of years and the info from the forum was invaluable for helping me get it. Any other info on #156 would be very well received too.

It will see a fair amount of use as I do 25-30k a year for work. Would be good to meet other owners around Lincolnshire/East Mids.

Welcome and a very high spec car love the interior and green edged floor mats I was surprised it never sold but Alpina green is definitely having a renaissance currently on the newer models

Hi Hap!

I know what you mean about the colour, seems quite common on the new G20 and G30s but appears to have been an acquired taste back in 2013. Maybe the new BMW San Remo green has something to do with it. Mine definitely needs a good detail to bring it out though.

I’m based in Lincoln but regularly commute up to Stoke and down to Cambridge. Saw a lovely D3 in a McDonalds car park in Lincoln recently.

I do recall that one, its a very nice looking example in green with oyster!
Might have had some additional interior embellishments too such as embroidered rhombs IIRC..

They’re great pictures of a cracking looking car Thom - #makegreengreatagain (my son follows it on Instagram). I was looking at the pictures of the cars at the Sandtoft meet last weekend and comparing the F11 and G31 - the F series just haven’t aged at all (saloon and estate) - they just look different but every bit as lovely.
