Are they no good to anyone? Surely the throttle bodies are from an m3 and are expensive

Omg it turns out.... it is all there! Yeeeee lol, I had someone come and check everything, thank goodness!!!! I was so upset earlier!! Right I need to get cracking and order more bits, need to find part numbers for a head set kit and timing chain kit, without the HG. Someone mentioned the parts for the roadster s lux, is a US model m3 e46, can someone confirm this or have any part numbers they could help me with?

Hey there thanks M8! Um. Well I have the catalogue, but it's the standard parts I need to make up the headset, it's the other things I need ie stretch bolts and anything else I need to make up the gasket kit for the rebuild... I dont see any of that stuff in the catalogue. Valve stem seals and other bits that would come with the head kit. It's these part numbers I need

hey there guys, BMW are not being very helpful they now just telling me to give them the parts I need. They are telling me there is no kit for the e36 s52.... im not a mechanic and I dont know all the bits required to make up a head gasket set kit. I have a few alpina part numbers which is fine. But it's all the other stuff I'm struggling with. Has anyone here replaced a headgasket before on the s52 and maybe have a list of the other parts that was ordered to make this a bit easier for me? I'm really struggling here :? They also told me that the hain tensioner kit is now not available. But I can order that stuff later I guess. The main thing is the headset kit to get the cylinder head built backup

I have a head gasket already and have part numbers for the inlet manifold gasket and exhaust manifold gaskets as they are alpina parts but I still need,

Headset kit with all the various S52 gaskets etc
Valve stem seals
Correct Stretch bolts

If there is anyone that has ordered this stuff before... maybe you have a copy of the order, it would really be of help and give me somethingto work from!

Thanks

I'm at CPC tomorrow so will ask the question, as they have rebuilt my engine (same as yours) several times now

Thanks so much m8! I've printed off all sheets for an e36 m3 s52, and it's a mind field. Trying to highlight everything that I've found from another kit I found. I'll get there in the end, but hopefully whatever you come back with I can tally up with hat I have. Cheers

just buy an M52 2.8 headgasket set Elring brand - thats OEM, make sure its for a single vanos engine not an M52TU - they double vanos and the rocker cover gasket is different. M52 is the same engine as an S52 in basic terms and all the parts will be the same. As Charles has shown you, you want the shorter headbolts as you have a cast iron block.
