Tatton park

Hi everyone, my missus and I spent the day (sat) at Tatton park Cheshire for the classic and performance car show. As I am new to the classic, though not the performance car shows we really enjoyed the day, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Alpina B10 on a V plate on the N W BMW owners stand, in a darker blue (don't know the name) ,It had the Alpina register stickers in the rear quaterlights, I was intrigued and waited to speak to the owner who I was told, his name is Steve, needless to say I missed him twice, oh well, being new to a B10 I was keen to ask his advice and compare cars, any other B10 owners with advice would be very grateful.
