I've been trying to gather info about the Lavalina leather specced B12 6.0s and #055 really piqued my interest as the register states original owner was former King Albert II of Belgium and that everything is covered in Lavalina.
I've tried to find pics of the car while used by Albert II, thought it would have been used in official ceremonies or visits maybe but it does not seem the case. I reckon the car is not anymore in his possession as the register states him as the "original owner". The register seems to have been updated pretty recently (march '21) for that car. Any additional pics or info?
Thanks

Re: King Albert II's Alpina B12 6.0
Hello,
I am the current owner of the car (and, no, I am not the ex-King of Belgium) The only picture I know of where both Albert II and the car feature is at page 347 of the "OAL - BB 50" book. I doubt that it was used in any official capacity given that it was part of the "liste civile du roi" i.e., his personal collection.
If you send me your email address I can send you further pics. Also happy to show you the car if you are not too far from Brussels.
Kind regards,
Knut

Hi Knut. Did you use to live in Norway? Did you create an E46 M3 Touring that featured in a BMW magazine?
