Alpina RS Ownership Stats

I was sure I posted the info below back in May but can't find any trace of it... senility this way comes...

I've compiled a few, to me at least, interesting statistics on the Alpina RS that may be informative for anyone looking to purchase a 'low mileage' or 'low owner count' example as they help to refine what can be considered as average mileage or average number of owners/length of ownership.

These are based upon a sample size of 165 of the 167 RHD vehicles, all of which were first registered between 16 and 18 years ago. The data on which the figures are based was accurate as of January 2021.

The average owner keeps the vehicle for around 4 years

The average RS has
- had 4.2 owners
- covered slightly over 68,000 miles

When looking for 'lightly owned' examples, over 40% have had 3 owners or less and a fair few have been owned by a single owner since new
9% have had 1 owner
13% have had 2 owners
20% have had 3 owners
18% have had 4 owners
40% have had 5+ owners
