20" wheel alternatives in 19"
20" wheel alternatives in 19"
Other than the standard 19" Alpina wheel for the B4 (2016) what other 19" options are there?
Something from OZ or BBS?

Are you considering 'winter wheel' options or changing your Alpina wheels?

Re: 20" wheel alternatives in 19"
The standard options for the F3x B3/B4 were C13's in 19" or 20"
Later B3/B4 S could have the CS17 Forged 20"

and the Ed99's got the the C12 Forged option.
Most of the standard BMW 19" options should also fit

Re: 20" wheel alternatives in 19"
I'm considering buying a B4, but most seem to come with the 20" wheels and I'd prefer the 19's, primarily for ride quality.
I thought the 19" Alpina wheels would be a lot more expensive than an alternative from the likes of OZ and/or BBS.

Re: 20" wheel alternatives in 19"
I had a B4 for two and a half years which was fitted with 20" wheels, I had no problems with the ride quality.
My previous B3 BT and B3S BT were fitted with 19" wheels, they did not feel much different to the B4.

Re: 20" wheel alternatives in 19"
My opinion is perhaps not wholly relevant as I have a different car, but it is bigger and heavier than a B4 and the ride is perfectly good (remarkably so, given the chassis dynamics and minuscule tyre profile) on 20's; it's part of the Alpina MO. One would assume the 19's would ride even better but I wouldn't switch mine out on the basis of comfort. Definitely worth getting an extended drive in one (if that's possible) before ruling out the 20's.

Thanks very much chaps, good info.
Re: 20" wheel alternatives in 19"
I have a B4 with 20" wheels, the ride is excellent, much better than my wife's 4 series coupe with 19" run flats. When she first got in the car the comment was 'why isn't my car this comfortable?'
