U.S 2018/19 B6 Production Numbers? WTB

Post by ngrosso003 » Thu May 27, 2021 3:32 am

Hi everyone,

I was curious if anyone had insight to the production numbers of 2018 and 2019 B6's. Anyone have these figures or know where I can find them? I've had my 2017 in Alpina Blue / full champagne for 4 years now and love it. I've been looking for a green and amaro brown 2018 or 19 for the last 2 + years and haven't been able to find the rare egg yet. Looking everywhere, BMW certified, Manheim, Adesa, exc. At this point i'd be willing to have a brown or tan interior car resprayed green if the price was fair enough. I went to go see an M8 and didn't like the 8 nearly as much as the 6. I'd rather find a B6 over a B8.

Anyone know if green was produced for the U.S in 2018 or 2019? I literally have not seen one car yet.

Thanks :)

Someone else was also looking for an ALPINA Green B6 in US recently. In this thread I posted a link to a 2016 one for sale, but that seems to have sold now: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=25157&p=211538

The Archvie shows there were 907 B6 BT's sold in North America but only 118 have been logged to date. There are links in the thread above to the five other ALPINA Green B6's that are known to the Archive.

Looks like #6072 & 6081 could be LCI's
B3 3.2 TOURING #062

Yikes. Looks like if I really want green I might be waiting for a B8. Thanks for the info, hadn't seen that other thread. Back when I bought my blue car the green ones were just as common for the 15', 16' and 17' years. Looks like things have changed with the later production years.

Thank you

So, some time ago I started to work through all of the F06 B6s but only got as far early 2017. What I can tell you is that from model introduction to January 2017, there were 12 Alpina Green B6 Gran Coupes with Amaro Brown leather. I can't at present, speak as to what the position is with anything beyond that. I hope that helps.

James

Thanks James, that does help. There are less out there than I was expecting unfortunately. If you asked me I would've guessed twice that.

How about this one and paint it?

I've seen that one. Thank you for pointing it out though. Beautiful car but if I were to go about re spraying it would have to be a pretty good deal which I know is unlikely. That car is priced about 5-8k above wholesale value. I'm really hoping to find one in OEM spec. I have a feeling that repainting a new B6 could do some serious damage on the resale value. Thanks!

No problem, I don't have the figures for 2018/19 but when (if) I get time to do it, I will update :D
