CaeserBob,
The build sheet says it's 'Alpina Blue Metallic' which is an extra. All I know is in certain lights it does 'sparkle' a bit and is different from the BMW blues.
When clean and polished it looks terrific, but then its mine and I'm biased. :D :D

As previous, if I was buying a new Alpina then I think I would go for the green (it is a bit special) as I've already had 2 blue BMW's.

I thought yours was this one: https://www.alpina-archive.com/?p=22572 ... iTurbo-463

The sticker on the suspension turret under the bonnet will confirm actual colour.

Think Green personally.

Always think a car looks great in dark green - not quite the same as Lime green in the BL days.

I’ve a PURPLE Dolomite Sprint 😄

Alpina B10 3.3 Touring
Triumph Dolomite Sprint
VW Golf MK1 GTi Campaign

Mine are both Alpina Blue (Different shades) but as most are saying, I'd love to have a green one at some point. Absolutely stunning colour.

I suppose it begs the question of why so few in Green were specified from new compared to Blue ?

It is curious why so many ALPINA fans apparently prefer the Green but for those who are actually able to spec a car from new, it isn’t the top choice.
It’s also odd that for UK cars, the F31 B3 & B3S’ go against the trend with more than 65% of B3's & 25% of B3S' being spec’d in ALPINA Green.

CaesarBob,

You are correct, my car is B3s Biturbo build no. 463, plus I've just checked under the bonnet and the label says 'Blue Hera Mica Metal'.
You live and learn every day, I'm astounded
