They look nice and would add a nice finishing touch. I can see the attraction....

but I wonder on copyright and how the dealers (if they still exist) would view them. It could be misrepresenting that the car was LAST sold by that dealer, even if supplied new by them way back when 🤔, or it’s a bit of free marketing for them 🤷🏼‍♂️

I ordered a set of plates off Sytner Nottingham for my 51 plate B10 - £30 delivered, bearing their name. Suppose that’s the same thing.

Woolley have u a close up of the plate pls? There is a thread that they won’t supply and or do the very simple scripted plate rather than the lipped rear with the BMW alpina badges
Did they offer any different type

Looks good. I have just been in touch. He is asking £60 up front and then some design proofs to review and approve prior to print.

£60 for a pair of plates is madness, but does give you UK legal plates with the sytner logo.....

I need to do my man maths to prove that this is worth doing......

For your car rav and mine these are the correct era design
It would be good to see a genuine Sytner against these to check the size, width, font is 100% same
They do look pretty close to me

I bought some gel plates for the M3 from plates for cars.co.uk. They do show plates and road legal plates.

The will provide a footer to your design so I see no issues with adding a dealer legend. They are about £30 a pair.

Cool plate but I do find these A lot more exclusive and more appealing to the eye with the extended style number plate. Can anyone make the same plate but on and with the extended bit. This is what I mean take a look at this pic. Writing and logos on The extra area (black bit) on the bottom. That would be a winner in my eyes

My plate arrived from Retro Plates today. I bit the bullet and went for the £60 option as they are period correct as Hap said. Don't tell my wife as she is a little upset about my spending at the moment.
I will add to the car once the weather is a little warmer together with my ALPINA lettering to the front bumper. The car itself has not moved for 6 wks.

6 weeks !!! That needs a blast round the block I think.

Take the wife with you and she realise 60 bucks is a good investment!

Good point - Last time i took the wife we were engulfed in smoke, oil leaking onto the exhaust was pushed into the car. BMR fixed this, but i think the missus is still seething after the suspension refresh!
