Does the F11 have the opening rear glass like other BMW Tourings?
Does your B5 have comfort seats? Can one adjust the side bolsters for width?
Hi Churchie, yes the glass opens separately on the tailgate - it’s a nice feature.

The seats have the extra adjustment - lumbar, bolsters, electric thigh support and headrest. Assume that makes them comfort spec? My last one had fixed bolsters, no lumbar adjust and manual thigh support and headrest.

Reviving my original thread here - I have mentioned elsewhere about fitting a Deko set. I love the full Alpina look and I think they work nicely on Alpina Blue. They are close to completion now.....

Hi Paul

Great choice. I had the same dilemma with my Alpina Blue D5 earlier this year. Decided to have the full deko kit fitted in silver by Simon. It looks fantastic! Really finishes the car off. Your Touring will look great with them
Will get some pics up of mine.

I’d love to see some photos if you wouldn’t mind posting? Suspect it looks identical to mine (decals apart for now).

The weather was decent today so my friend came round to fit the decals for me. He’d been pretty confident about the process but did concede it was trickier than he imagined.

There’s still a bit of tweaking to be done around the front wheel arch and to the front light. His design was done from photos so was a learning exercise applying them to the car. However he’s confident he can sort it out.

Either way, I absolutely love the overall result. I think it looks amazing. You never really know how these things will turn out having only seen photos but I think they totally suit the car.

Hope you like them!
