I spoke to Gary Lott at Sytner today about obtaining a certificate of conformity for my F31 D3. I need one because (a) the V5 was first registered with 180g/km (it should be 142g/km, per the Alpina owners handbook), and (b) because teh V5 shows blank for the Euro status (it should be Euro 6, again per the owners handbook).

He told me to email classic@alpina.de and that I'd have to pay circa €100. Is that right? I thought that was for the Alpina Certificate of Delivery. Is that what the DVLA will want to see to correct the V5.

Perhaps someone cah share a picture of their certificate of conformity (with chassis and reg redacted) so we know what is needed and what the DVLA accept.

Thanks in advance.

Evening.

The process was quite easy when I did it at the start of the year.

I contacted the email provided by Gary and they issued an invoice which was paid, it was around £60 but maybe a little more now. Once I had the CoC I sent this plus proof of ownership and the logbook to the Birmingham CAZ people who corrected my v5 for me.

Took a few weeks for alpina to respond to emails and the dvla but but nothing too painful.

Attached a copy of the CoC

That is most helpful. Thank you.

Hopefully it will be simple enough.

“ The Birmingham CAZ people have apparently updated the details with the DVLA and have told me to expect a new V5 with 'Euro 6' stated on it. ”

Impressive they have taken the trouble to do that and even more so DVLA have acted on it.

Am very reluctantly putting my 2010 D3 Touring up for sale as it doesn't comply. I contacted Alpina and they said a CoC wasn't available for it.
Looking around at replacing it with a later car but just seen a 2007 D3 touring on Collecting cars which does comply when I run the plate through TFL. Any ideas why it might comply and not mine?
Considering buying as its cheap, despite high miles and showing its use
