I can't say I'm not interested, but this post strikes me as a bit Spammy? I have received very good service from Nottingham and despite living near Middlesbrough have so far driven to Nottingham avoiding all else. I look forward to some first hand reports on service and expertise that Sheffield may or may not get together...

Was in their current Sheffield dealership 3 times this year and they never had any new Alpina vehicles on display on either occasion which I thought was poor

its not spam , i used to work for them for 6 year , its where i did my apprenticeship ,.. the old building was so small it was always difficult to get all the new models in there ,, im looking forward to seeing the new place open as i have a bit of history with them...

its where my love for the alpina started when i had to deliver one back to a costumer one day and enjoyed the drive so much !

Didn't mean to be rude, I have driven past the old place a few times, but nowhere could I find any feedback, good or bad. Hence the trip to Nottingham, looking forward to some first hand experiences of the new place.

Sytner Sheffield

Post by WJD » Wed Nov 08, 2017 3:10 pm

Living in Doncaster I've had my D3 BT Coupe serviced at Sytner Sheffield a few times no problems and very helpful also very handy for a day in town while it's being serviced.

All the new Sytner buildings whether they are Audi, BMW or Mercedes (IIRC can’t remember seeing any new Guy Salmons) have this new layout e.g. BMW Tamworth and Audi Reading. They are also refurbishing their smaller dealers to have this newer look e.g. Audi Harrogate. BMW Tamworth only ever have a couple of ALPINAs for sale. I do like the entrance and exit to the servicing area and seeing cars being service.

I however don’t think if it is in a new building the oil or the mechanic will be any better :P

I was speaking to one of the managers last December at Sheffield and he said the new building will be ready for May of this year.

Don’t know about others but just my thought is that this forum has become very quiet in the last few years. I therefore don’t mind how small the relevance of ALPINA is in a post because it keeps people interested and contributing to the forum
