Cheers guys.

Question about the wood:

* Leave as it is
* Replace with new Alpina Piano black (££££)
* Have the trim wrapped in Piano black
* Remove and replace with a std F10 inlay, e.g. Anthracite wood

Thoughts?

As much as I like Piano black it is a pain to keep scratch and finger print free.
I would leave it as is, as it is part of your D5s DNA.

An excellent looking 2nd Alpina you have there Asim and in a fantastic colour, a totally unbiased opinion of course :lol:. Enjoy adding some miles to it.

Wow, leather everywhere! Very nice, I do like a light interior.

I agree with your wife, the Wood doesn't do it for me either. Id say wrap in Piano Black, only because the real piano back scratches so easily as mentioned above.

My car has done 1700 miles now, mainly only with me in it, and I can't believe how badly marked the trim is by the iDrive. Im tempted to get mine wrapped in clear.

Thank you chaps, she's running well and I'm enjoying it very much. Currently in Devon with the family, had a lovely run down in the sun, it really is the consummate mile muncher. I didn't hang about on the run down :wink:

A bit of a list fuelled by my inevitable OCD to get it up to standard, but the B10 is my priority on funds and time.
