Hi Swannie,

It should be on 330mm front discs and 336mm rears. I recently replaced mine with dimpled and grooved discs with red stuff pads from Mtec. Not expensive and they seem very good now I have bedded them in a little

330mm front discs BMW Part No: 34116854999
336mm rear discs BMW Part No: 34216855004

I hope that helps

is a 335 upgrade a worthy shout or are the brakes plenty strong enough on a D3 BT? I'm picking mine up next week

Hi Stubert,
I really don't think that the D3 brakes need upgrading as they are larger than the 320D items anyway.
I have given mine some pretty harsh treatment and never had any overheat issues and certainly never felt that they needed to be upgraded.
The reason I went for the grooved/dimpled Mtec ones was purely for aesthetics really. I also had them coated black for £25.
The Red stuff pads are also very good and produce far less dust than the OEM pads so my wheels stay a little cleaner for longer, which is a huge bonus :D

I think the brake sizes are different from pre-facelift to face lift model?

I only found this out when I bought 16" winter wheels from a member on here with a pre facelift D3 and went to fit them to my facelift D3 -!; they wouldn't fit over the front calipers!
