New Battery and Crank Pulley changed today at DM Worx Stoke Mandeville. Excellent service as usual. Crank Pully was flagged at last service as they said it's starting to show signs and the battery was showing signs of struggling. I was loosing the time on the Radio over night and during really old snap recently the yellow car on a ramp popped up. All supplied and Fitted. Just one little thing left for me to do on the routine list and that's the rear prop donut. will get that done shortly.

Interesting! As of yesterday afternoon, it is for sale, but I’ve not openly advertised it yet. 😂 I have a few interested parties, but will put an advert up on here later today.

The B10 came up with Trans Failsafe Prog so limped home, this could be expensive :(

is the trans safe messege intermittent Barry? try the turn the car on and off trick, if so it could be the selector switch, which is expensive but not as much as a gearbox rebuid/issue! But the V8 boxes are strong up to the job

Thanks for the suggestions chaps, I've been getting an intermittent ABS light over the last 12 months which had a 'Steering angle plausibility' error which I put down to fitting an M5 steering box so hadn't taken too seriously (although I had tried to recalibrate in INPA).

The Trans Failsafe warning disappeared after the car was left for a day, I'm now getting these codes:

GS8602 errors 010224.JPG
GS8602 errors 010224.JPG (61.5 KiB) Viewed 448 times
The charging system seems fine as it shows around 13.7v when driving and the battery is newish and spends most of its time on trickle charge between driving. Although looking at the gearbox error it's suggesting 17 or 18 volts which seems very odd! I think this might be a trip to see Lee Shannon or BMR

Barry, could be alternator voltage regulator problem, too many volts?

Agreed Dave, I'm wondering if the regulator which I think is integral to the water cooled alternator might be starting to fail and spiking the voltage

Gave it a first wash in my ownership. Some of you may recognise the plate from the cars time with Autocar magazine last year. Sytner changed the alloy wheel and deco set colour for me before I picked it up at the end of Jan.

Congrats Matt! Looks mighty fine with silver wheels and deco. Chrome grilles, or leaving the shadowline version?

How does it compare with your previous F31 D3 & B3?

Hope you're enjoying it.

Thanks Asim.

The G21 is definitely a step forward in many areas. It’s physically bigger in every dimension, but still feels relatively compact.

Comparing it to the F31 D3, the G21 is more urgent and feels more planted thanks to xDrive. I’m only 300 miles into my ownership, but it’s already proving to be a lovely place to do some miles in. I’m sure the full merino leather interior has something to do with that.

I’ll do a proper write up when I have a bit of time
