Found some great single track roads for the inner child and got the car properly dirty just to irritate the clean freaks. Found that the super sports are relatively soft and 3 days of leaning on the front has evaporated the tyre shoulders. Oops two new tyres required

The X3s and bmw 4x4s seem to wear the outside edges of the front tyres quicker than the rest of the tread

Looking good Adam! Sounds like youve had a laugh :D

Might be worth a look at Camskill for tyres, they were doing a special on Michelin until the end of September.

Openo is cheaper even with the discount offer. And need super sports not the PS4.

Carol did say that her sphincter has had a workout trying to grip the seat

Time to fit the buckets out the track car haha

Ive not looked into tyres too much at this stage but the PS4 might be the newer (and maybe improved) version of the Super Sport? They look very similar.

The D3 has been away this week at Sytner Nottingham for some warranty work following getting the car in June. I found that the nsf shock was leaking so a pair were ordered by Sytner, the top mounts were also changed after a significant wait on back order. Whilst it was in the egr valve was also replaced which was throwing error codes. Since the changes it feels so much better, I’m yet to take it for a spirited drive but feels much quicker and more taught. I even treated it to a wash ahead of the weekend.

I didn’t but someone has, on overtime as well by the look of it.
Brunhilda’s now back online after 5 long weeks.
Half a tank of fuel and 6 miles travelled.
That means she’s coming home soon, so excited!!!

Decided to take the Alpina out for a business trip to Salisbury instead of using the diesel DogWagen - 340 mile round trip including some good bends/hills in/around Salisbury Plain and its the first proper leg-stretch since the last visit to Stephens last November. The TC Clutch got a good work-out in 4th up the steeper hills at low-ish speed and the overtasking performance on the A-roads is effortless. According to the trip computer, I should get 380 miles from a tank too :dance

Now on to the other jobs on the list... Alternator whine through the speakers is next...
