Not as clumsy as the photos on the seller's website you posted. You've fitted them neatly. I am a fan of stripes on an E39 but I think these do look a little heavy. Graphite might be better?
At the front, yours aren't quite right. This is how they were on mine:

Not a big fan of stripes and as said perhaps a lighter Graphite or Grey, at the moment they look too heavy, but it's your car, if you like it that's it.

I think we talked about this in another thread, but i'm nearly sure that car lives in Eglinton beside my work, minus its stripes now

Too black with the black strip underneath imho.
But to echo earlier point, if you like them crack on!

must admit, although I'm a fan of the deko kit I do like yours without them fitted. Although the green car, they look great. Obviously all down to the colour combination on the cars.

Sorry.....It looks NAFF across the tailgate!!

Does it loose its shape on the front wing.....what I mean is the bottom line not parallel with the rest or is just how it appears in the photo?

Agree also with the comments of others, the black is too much!
Graphite would be much better.

If your happy though....then that's what counts.

I agree with what's already been said. I don't know if it's the door strip or the chrome window surround or the black colour of decal but something isn't quite right. It's just a bit too much. :?

Personally I could live with it if I bought it like that , but my preference would
also be for Graphite too , it's a bit less 'harsh' .

The stripes on B10 are supposed to follow the swage line according to doc
I've seen .

I agree the black appears to be too heavy I would prefer graphite and not across tailgate.... but personal preference rules!!

I would prefere graphite or silver, black just does not do it for me.

Being debadged, silver metallic all round, the front Alpina badge in silver also and chrome classics, it may have been understated before so go for it with some stand out decals - It should be faily unique as a combination :D

Here's mine with black stripes, during my ownership number 88 has been striped and de-striped at various times and I can honestly say that without the stripes it just looks too plain and ordinary,
striped up it definitely gets a lot of admiring glances/comments, certainly more than it ever did without them.
I can also understand the comments about graphite as opposed to black and I did get sample vinyl to compare, but personally I plumped for the black to match the window surrounds.
So from me Richard it's a thumbs up :D

What a huge difference it makes having body-coloured mouldings and a lack of chrome.
