Hi Guys,

I have recently joined this forum & just wanted to ask how I can upload pictures? I don't appear to have the "upload pictures" icon on the post a new topic page. What am I doing wrong?

The site is great & as a fairly new Alpina owner I just wanted to say wow, what a fantastic car it is. It's my first BMW & after owning 28 Dagenham dustbins over the last 38 years, I am well impressed. Can't wait to get to some of the meets & see the lovely examples that you guys have.

Stu

Welcome Stu,

You`re in the right place, eventually

Not sure on the icon, do you have a photobucket / flickr account for your pictures ?

Hi Stu and welcome,

You should see the 'Img' button just under the subject box, it was always there for me as a Newbie.

Thanks again

Yes I believe so, mine is number 462 and I think I am right in saying that the last one was 465 on a 62 plate.

hi Stu , welcome to the forum , lovely looking car , nice one to start off
your Alpina ownership with .

Don't worry , I was a 'closet' Fordie before with loads of Mexico's , RS's
and an XR4x4 .

Once you're onto these beasts , it's a whole new ballgame .

Enjoy :D

Thanks Chris,

I thought that I was very happy with my previous fords (ST220-Escort RS Turbo- XR's etc ) over the years, but the Aplina is really something special, a real headturner as well. I cannot believe the interest I get from joe public when I'm out & about. But I am a Alpina virgin so have lots to learn & cannot wait to join you guys at some of the events.

Stu
