they have rejected it saying that the emissions standards to meet ULEZ limits
To add does their reply letter say that you can and how to appeal?

I'm being lazy as it may be in the thread.

Has anyone with a prior 2001 car - meaning: E36 3.2 or B10 3.2, or per-facelift E39 3.3 or E46 3.3 been successfully submitting for the ULEZ?

Great news

Good to know that a B3 3.3 pre-facelift meets the requirements. I'm unaware of any differences between the engines of B3 3.3 and B10 3.3 therefore hopefully this will be ok apart from the obvious differences one is an E46 and the other an E39  and hence the exhausts are different lengths etc. The 3.2 on the E36 and E39 has a slightly different torque curve from my understanding

I will email ALPINA in the next few days

Off tangent: I needed to pay the Congestion Charge for Friday and noticed it has increased since the last time I paid for it (IIRC in 2018), and now if you pay the day after it is even more which I did because I forgot to pay on Friday. I thought they stopped that because IIRC it was like that when it was first introduced. It was something like before 22:00 it was one price and a higher price after that and until midnight the following day

From the TFL website:

"The daily charge is £15 if you pay in advance or on the same day, or £17.50 by midnight of the third day after travel.

If you don't pay by midnight on the third day after travel in the zone, you will receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)."

Thank you all for this thread!

Mine went through quite quickly - on the form submission bit i uploaded an explanation that my appeal was on the grounds of the NOx values, and it was approved very quickly.

Just had an email through from TFL indicating that they're refunding all of the ULEZ payments i've made on the car over the years which is an unexpected bonus!

i didn't do anything. it had crossed my mind to ask them for a refund, but i thought i'd be wasting my time.

I'm on the autopay system, so that may have something to do with it, but other than that, i have no idea.

Yes, I just hope my customer doesn't mind paying me the extra £2.50. As the total has been invoiced to them. They are often reasonable
