Wanted: Green F31 B3 D3 touring or F32 B4 D4 convertible

Post by atlantic12 » Sat Feb 24, 2024 2:38 pm

Hello all, this is my first post here as I’m now finally in a position to make my dream a reality. Just putting this message out here in case anyone had been thinking of selling.

Looking for a Green F31 Touring or Green F32 Convertible, any spec, either fuel, prefer light interior

Not pursuing saloons or coupes at the moment
I saw this Green F32 D4 Coupe at £26k on AT http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202305317983232 - drop dead gorgeous just personally keen on either going topless or having the sleeper qualities/practicality of a fast estate
Also this White F32 D4 Convertible but not the colour for me http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202402206753104

Thanks for any info/leads!

Spectacular machine - however it would seem this will end up beyond my means, at least based on this older B5 saloon with similar miles up for £56k, which is a big step out of my budget unfortunately. I will of course follow closely though just in case

Thank you for drawing attention to it

Probably helpful to understand the pool of UK cars you are looking at. These are the 20x UK F3x's sold new in ALPINA Green. If you discount the 7x Saloon and Coupe's and the 4x with Black leather plus the 1x now in Australia, you're looking at a pretty small pool of possible candidates.

Thanks Bob. Very interesting! If #152 ever comes to market I have to buy it. I remember it being for sale at Bramleys a few years ago and it’s what got me into Alpinas. If anyone on here owns it or knows who owns it please let me know as I would love to put a deposit on it for when they want to move it on 🥰.

Thank you Bob, very helpful to see this list. Certainly thin on the ground. Will keep the fingers crossed that something surfaces in the next few months

Thank you for the spot and everyone on the thread for the help. In the end my current car (2000 LR Disco II) caught fire on the M4 so I decided to take a leap on what seemed to me to be a good deal on a 440i last week. Haven’t stop grinning…

Look forward to returning to the issue once I get a dog or a set of skis
