E91 D3 Biturbo

Post by MDMA » Sun Apr 03, 2022 3:13 pm

Thought it might be easier putting a wanted ad up. I’m looking for a 2011 E91 D3 Biturbo Touring. I only want an immaculate example. Low mileage, full history, no previous accident damage. Would prefer original paint, but appreciate due to the age now, some rectification may have taken place by now. I’d also like the car to have the classic wheels, not the Dynamics. Switchtronic box also preferred.
Let me know if you’re thinking of selling soon. Just sold one of my cars and space in the garage now.

The BT classic wheels differ from the MT classics. I’ve seen some early BT with the same design but not many. Bob is your man for the specifics. Good luck with the find, just be patient they do come up eventually 👍🏻

I have. But the B3s is more than I’m willing to spend for a daily, hence wanting a D3 BT. If I was after a second car, the B3s would be in the garage now! Stunning car.

Still looking if anyone knows of any for sale. Plenty E90’s for sale, hardly any E91’s.

Just bumping this thread in case anyone knew of any for sale/coming up for sale. E90’s seem to be everywhere at the moment, just no decent E91’s.

I might be, based on condition/history and price. Only problem now though is the number of other cities bringing in clean air zones this year. I really think non Euro 6 engined diesels are going to tank in value. There’ll be nowhere to drive them soon. They’re looking like a potential hot potato right now. Could end up being worthless in 2 years. I need to weigh up if one is really worth buying. You can see the Government plan is to get them off the road.

Edit- after a quick check of the build number, MOT shows 71k last September, so presume the 65k you wrote is wrong? Also, weeping shocks as an advisory for the last two years. Have these been changed at all recently?

Yes, I understand your concern about ULEZ values.
Apologies, wrote that quickly yesterday without checking, 65k is on my Porsche. I'll double check mileage, weeping shocks not done, last service they didn't make a great deal out of it so have left but can do. MOT is up in September so I'll get a new one done prior to sale.
Pinstripes were looking scruffy so have had them removed this week while its being polished. I love them but I know they divide opinion for some so will probably leave off for the sale.
