E91 D3 Wanted

Hi guys, Looking to pop my Alpina cherry by becoming the custodian of a E91 D3 or bi-turbo. If anyone is thinking of selling or happen to come across a nice example I would be grateful if you could get in touch. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide

Could I ask why you turned down #413. I’ve looked at a few E90 as back up plan. The sizeable stone chip in the middle of the bonnet was a disappointing factor for me on this one. Front end respray needed for correct match? Then you’re into messing with the original factory stripes

Did I see somewhere in the forum that this had been purchased by the existing seller for £4.5/5K on eBay??? Can’t seem to find the thread again . There’s so much outstanding knowledge contained within this site, real credit to all those that contribute
This E91 BT is pretty close to me but a manual would be preferable option at this stage…...

Note: I'm a little confused by the "1 former keeper" statement. This car went through BCA auctions in Apr-13 & Jun-19 and from Jul-Oct-19 it was advertised trade with 150k miles, then it disappeared until Aug-21 when it appeared with ASM with 165k.

#317 was advertised on FB until very recently, but the ad has now expired/been taken down. There is a thread about it on here which you would be well advised to read before taking any further action if it's relisted though:

I was also speaking to someone who has a lead on a very elusive E91 D3 BT, it hasn't been spotted for sale/in the wild since it was new, until now. No other details I can share at this point but that is one to watch out for, if it comes to market.

Contacted ASM first thing this morning. #354 has been sold. Informed they would call me back to arrange a viewing appointment for #201. Which hasn’t happened as of yet

The dealer did me a walk round video and there was a nasty graze on the rear passenger arch, possibly why it’s been photographed from every angle but that one. The wheels need refurbishing and it probably wants all the fluids dropped as it’s been sat for at least a year.

The main reason is I prefer the styling of the earlier cars and the cam chain issue worries me, rightly or wrongly as it doesn’t seem to effect the D3. But I’d always wanted the early car so I’m sticking to plan A and to be honest most of the dealers I’ve spoken don’t fill me with any confidence. I’d much rather wait for an owner on here selling their car. I’m considering #385 which is the only sub 100k Montego blue pre LCI car for sale at the moment. It’s not perfect but it looks honest and ticks a lot of the boxes. Im seeing if there’s a deal to be made as it’s a N.Ireland car.

If you can prise #190 out of Jamie's hands that would be the one I'd try for ... it's a bona fide Unicorn as far as UK D3 MT's go (Pan Roof, Pro-Media, Logic7, Poplar Wood, Heated Seats, Lumbar, Cruise, Front & Rear PDC, Rain Sensing Wipers and Xenons, Comfort Access, Towbar, and Universal Remote that I know of)
