Looks like it has led a hard life, and been uncared for over a number of years :(

Is this worth a punt ? 🤔

Still available - sounds from this thread the chap is a dealer rather than the owner. Obviously far from flawless but rare enough. He’s sent me a lot more details through / had some welding done last MOT but other than that no major fail points in past.

Does seem expensive to the James Paul one at £13,950, but was that too cheap?? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

At least the pictures are a warts and all representation, which could be viewed as being honest or just lazy prep or maintenance. The only way to judge the car properly is to view it and try and work out what you think the car would be worth once you had spent money and labour to get it there. If the buying price plus that exceeds your estimate by a lot then you would have to negotiate the selling price down. Not an easy thing to estimate but expensive if you just dive in. Bottom line is that everything has a price. Although the seller makes a lot of the car's rarity there is also a rarity of buyers for these cars.

Saying all that once restored it would be a lovely car.

Its a nice spec car and the interior is superb.
Rust and rot is a the killer on these cars and where a lot of ££££ can be spent within no time. Some odd rust spots on that tailgate.....

#047 definitely needs saving but I’d worry a fair deal with the current seller will be tough to negotiate. In my mind the James Paul car is right at the top end price wise.

B10 Tourings with any engine are much rarer than their saloon counterparts but worth noting that four of them were for sale in the last 12mths:
V8 #037 with 175k miles didn’t appear to sell at £10k
V8 #160 with 155k was up for £11k and did sell
3.3 #057 with 158k made £6.7k on eBay auction
3.3 #069 made £7.6k on eBay auction with 150k

I’m now the owner of #047

Did a pretty good deal beginning with 9

Overall it’s not bad close up - few bits to look at over next few months.
