The touring is nice but I think the Saloon does present better value, it's newer with less miles, only 2 owners and I value the heated leather seats with the wee badges more than I do Sat Nav. Lovely colour too. It's a fair bit away but happy to travel for right car.

#434 is a nice looking car, and if full leather a key option then that significantly shortens the list of potentials.

A good choice, but the dealer isn't helping themselves by advertising it as a B3.

For me, it would be Ade's favourite, E91 #284. The only way it would be better is if it was Montego.
I like #434, but having owned a saloon, coupe and touring E9x, the touring shape is by far the best to my eyes, and more desirable used. Approaching it in a car park it looks epic. And Space Grey is fabulous on a bright day: gives hints of green. Add a deko kit and wahay!

The sale price of #220 at EH says it all: they bought and sold cheaply. Someone dropped on!

#284 should be selling privately around £12k IMO as trade in is £11k. Real forecourt is around £13500

Saloons should be a touch cheaper. Early coupes feel and look cheap, and haven't the facelift the other E9x's have on D3BT's until mid 2010.

Value wise I think these are near bottom, especially the tourings. There is little comparison with a D3.....chalk and cheese. D3's have their place, but not ahead of an LCI D3BT

The BMW Nav is crap.
You'll need to travel to find the right car. Condition is king as the little bits of trim cost £££££s to replace

This car has been discussed by the seller on here. If I find it, I'll post it, but needle in haystack.... Something's niggling away at the back of my head about this car: maybe nothing, though, but he only owned it weeks before sticking it up for sale early summer. It also warrants the comment that ALPINA didn't only change the engine from single to twin turbo, it's a whole new engine and 1000's of detail and quality improvement over the pre-lci D3.

Red saloons don't sell well at all. An odd fact. Look at those for sale and you'll see some sat around for years.

My first ever car was Red and that took ages to sell too. Think I will wait on the right Blue or Grey, in no rush.

Why not treat yourself to a trip to Pembrokeshire and take a peek at this? At least if the car's crap you can treat yourself to some time in Saundersfoot or Tenby!

This has been for sale since march/April to my knowledge: previously up in Ebbw Vale. It was on my own 'to view' list. Price was previously ' more reasonable' and a deal needs doing on price or he'll not sell this in the wilds of SW Wales.

Certainly does seem to be true, but I find it surprising since I really like Crimson Red.
