Rear "Biturbo" Chrome Badge needed

Post by TonyS » Wed Aug 04, 2021 2:31 pm

The "biturbo" boot lid badge on my car has been vandalised :x ... the "i" and the "bo" are missing !
I have been quoted £142.46 inc. VAT + p&p for a new one ( part no. 9147 51 00 299 ), and will have to wait months apparently.

So on the extreme off-chance, I thought I would check on here first, just in case someone has one they don't need anymore and would sell ?

There are options available on eBay etc for chrome letters but I've never seen any that were actually in the correct (or even close to being correct) font.

Personally, there are only two options: de-badged or pay the money and get genuine parts.

I looked at ebay, but the descriptions showed the letters were either too tall or too wide or italic or an odd font with stroke thickness too chunky - so no-go really.
They also looked cheap and probably won't have strong waterproof adhesive, Oh well I had better get the wallet out

Closest ive found is the 'i' from a mk6 Fiesta badge, but havent tried it on the car yet.
