Reading this reminded me that I should look at the inside of the wings after the accident repair it’s unlikely they did any rust treatment. ATM the car looks in great nick having had all the new bits and full front end re spray.

Took the inner arch off today and it has been sprayed with anti corrosion stuff, not sure what it is but it’s there and feels tacky so happy with that. Problem is while you’re there I’ll just have a look under the sills. Think I’ll put that in another thread.

Had another piece of luck today, started on the passenger side sill when I removed the inner arch I see that they replaced that wing with a new one and treated the inside as well. So whole front from doors is new. This car will still be around when I’m gone. Note to self, must make sure I do a good job on sills.
