Getting Gassed

Post by Aggie » Sun Jan 01, 2023 6:33 pm

Evening everyone

Firstly, Happy New Year. I've noticed recently that i'm getting a very strong smell of exhaust fumes inside my car whilst she is on cold start. It doesn't do it all the time and clears once the engine comes off cold start. It also appears stronger when i have the centre vent set to the warm/hot position. I'm not sure if the cold start valve has anything to do with it. Once off cold start, the fumes clear. Anyone had this problem or any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Hi Hap

Many thanks. Funny you should say that. I recently had my Inspection 2 completed and Lee indicated my Rocker gasket was leaking.Planning to get it in next month. Fingers crossed it will solve the issue. Happy new year.
