A question for the oil burner owners.
My car has been flagged as having an open recall for the above. Can anyone confirm if the F11 D5 will have the same parts that are subject to recall by BMW, or do our cars have different components/Alpina parts?
I just don't want Alpina spec parts being replaced with standard BMW parts.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Diesel EGR cooler recall
The egr is nothing special and will be a BMW part only, had mine replaced last year.
Just check everything over when you pick up the car, the so-called technicians left 2 coolant pipes loose and stole my alpina key ring that also had the key to the wheel caps...but that’s another story.

Many thanks, without the D5 F1# parts catalogue it is difficult to know what is different and what is BMW OEM.D3orbust wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 6:18 pmThe egr is nothing special and will be a BMW part only, had mine replaced last year.
