I noticed the torch in the glovebox doesnt work.

Its not the end of the world, but i like all the odds and sods to work.
I am guessing that the batteries are shot - has anyone sucessfuly repaired one of these? I cant see how to get in?

You can buy one from eBay for a few pounds so not really worth trying to fix it.

What could go wrong in one? I will buy a working one from Ebay and take the original one apart to see whats what!

Batteries, bulb, switch, charging contacts can go wrong. IIRC they're pretty well sealed up. Long ago I had one 'die' and I'm far from averse from dismantling stuff as it's my 'thing'. I didn't bother with the torch and spent my time better elsewhere!
