FMW tuning good post sales service

Post by rc944 » Sat Dec 19, 2020 4:38 pm

Like many before and no doubt after me, over 2 years ago i bought the full kit from Frank at FMW Tuning in germany and then got the other sundry items from Ed at Cotswold BMW

one of the rear shocks started to weep so i sent it back to Frank in around November and without quibble, 2 new units were sent back to me within a few weeks.

Just thought it might be useful to share for anyone thinking about ordering from them

Always good to hear about positive Aftersales experiences. It’s all to easy to get lost amongst the bad reviews.

Glad you’re all sorted though.

Do you happen to have a direct email pls? I sent a message generic as the item request more product info didn’t work
No reply as yet I’m concerned ordering over 1k of suspension with no acknowledgment
Any help appreciated since AWD can’t supply suspension anymore

You might want to check the situation with taxes too if you’re buying from FMW. Early in the post-Brexit process they were still charging local VAT and then it was also being applied on arrival in the UK (a double whammy)

Right I noticed the delivery bit so now changed that to over 1500 euro so if that’s everything it’s approx £1262
Actual price from uk dealer is £1300 so umm not much a saving anymore

I'm not certain as I've not bought anything recently, but this was Rob's experience: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25060
