An interesting discovery

Post by v8 ego » Mon Jun 09, 2008 10:29 pm

I had all of the wheels of the D3 this evening for a good clean up and rim wax and noticed that the fronts are made by Ronal and the rears by Borbet (they are Classics). I'm not bothered about it but is this normal Alpina practice? Just thought it was unusual.
Regards,

James

Nothing untoward mate - as with any manufacturer, Alpina will sub out work to a number of suppliers simultaneously - either for each type of rim, or both making both sizes.
