Picture the scene: driving home this evening down a very busy M1. Self for company, crystal turquoise sky with spectacular sunset to my right, just above freezing outside, heated seat on, roof tilted, steady 60mph in comfort +, an hour from home. Bored with R2, couldn’t be doing with R4, fed up with Heart dance, too many ads on Planet rock, hit Classic FM. Listened for a bit, something by Bach, thought that’s nice, went to online entertainment. Played the Brandenburg concertos (there’s a few) absolutely blew me away how they suited the moment / nature of the car. Laid back, stately and imperious.
Got me wondering, what music would other Alpina owners choose to describe the character of their car?

I have been listening to Led Zeppelin Symphonic of late. While covering several genres which blend seamlessly together, it really stirs the soul and at times can be quite emotive.

When you get your foot down, ‘Fuel’ by Metallic seems appropriate
