My new car B3

Post by Timbo76 » Wed Oct 31, 2018 10:04 pm

Hi I’m new to the Alpina forums so hi! Just brought #106 b3 bi turbo and love it .. was looking for M3 but couldn’t justify the tax and running costs.. after looking around I came across this off a friend who had it in his garage for a year and it’s done 73k..only issue is that it has a shudder at low revs so probably torque converter and a £1k bill.. 🤔 however I’m willing to take the hit as it’s a quality car like no other. Look forward to posting on the forums

The walnut trim makes a huge difference. Too many have 'brushed aluminium', which rather ruins the ambience of the B3BT.

Where near Cannock?? Hednesford, Pye Green, Chadsmoor, Norton Canes, Rawnsley etc etc. Or are you in a 'posh' bit?

I've lived on every corner of Cannock Chase and Shoal Hill :?

Bri-E will chirp in in if he spots this: he uses Broomhill motors for his mot's and service of his classic Capri, and his son lives in Penkridge. There's posh!

Another 'Rich', Vxrich on here, lives in a posh Staffs village just to the north of the Chase betwixt Stafford and Rugeley (he's proper posh!) with his lovely blue E91 D3Biturbo.

I know Great Wyrley pretty well. My aunt lived in Trevor Ave. And my son works his uni hols in the big Sainsbury's just over the A34 from you.
