Hi.

Yes that's right. I bought it from an old chap in Durham and drove it home. It had plain mats in it when I bought it, which I was a bit gutted about but got some money knocked off. When I got home I lifted up the boot matt and there was a full set of original Alpina mats laid out underneath. Result!

I had to sell it as my wife didn't like it. Oddly I have a bmw 323ci sport auto now same year and almost same colour which she really likes. Odd things aren't they!

Kris, did you have chance to dig out the pictures? It would to see what my car looked like when it was a bit younger....

Passed a mileage milestone today going through Hungerford on the way to Didcot.

Still not a scratch on Charles's B3 3.4 - but a milestone for me. I seem to recall that I bought the car with around 70k - 80k miles on, so have done a few in the years i have owned her. She was never planned to be my daily car, but is and i love to drive her.

I have been using the B3 as my daily for a while and love the car. Its still brings a smile to my face on almost every drive and i always turn back to admire the car when leaving her in a car park. My kids have also picked up a phrase i often say - "God you have to love an Alpina" usually enthusiastically shouted after a Switchtronic double kick down over take!

I was driving the neighbour to tesco today and i noted something that I had not seen before. The black on/off button caught my attention in my rear view mirror.
