E46 B3S Addition to my garage

Post by BetterCallJimmy » Mon May 10, 2021 2:57 pm

So after having run the e90 D3BT for almost 2 years and have racked up about 60k miles into it I have decided to press the button on a petrol based Alpina too. While the M2 Comp is a very capable car it is just too much of a sports car to take everywhere (some man maths there... )

I picked up this beauty. It's #004 and rides like a peach. The previous owner has kept in good nick and it seems to have a full service history so I look forward to enjoying the car.

Next step will be a full-health check at BMR Performance and then full detail followed by installation of the deko-set.

Looks good. BMR will of course be very thorough. Which is good.

Very nice purchase.

Barry knows this car already I believe, having done a pre-sale inspection for a previous potential buyer.

Yes, I think so. At the time of purchase I thought it was a steal. Now having looked at it closer I think it was a fair price given the work I think it will need. I hope to get it into a condition which is close-ish to 'mint'.
