simon late as usual

I know this is a late reply, but what the hell.... My 2000 M5 has the same holes in the seat, and the seatbelts run through them. My 1994 850Ci with Light Parchment leather had exactly those coloured beige seatbelts (and if you thought these E39 belts were complicated, get yourself a look at the sea...

Hi Stuart Firstly I can say that whatever Alpina you get (as long as it's a real one) won't disappoint you. Even a "fake" one might not, as there's various cars in the UK made up in various states by authorised BMW dealer(s)... I see from the Alpina website that only 342 of those B3 3.2 E36 models w...

Boo hoo

:( Well a sad day - someone else now owns my gorgeous B3 3.3 saloon. Me and missus both sniffled a bit when the car went off to its happy new home. When I get the calculator out I'll work out a total cost of ownership and a running cost per mile with / without depreciation. It'll be a bit scary with...

?

I'll ask about the photos of course.

What's with the number plates? OAL?

My B3 is B3DVY and last time I checked on the DVLA B10DVY was still available.

If / when I sell the B3 I'll surely get the plate on retention / put it onto my 205 GTI to keep...

My B3 3.3 is a pukka Alpina (well I presume it is - drives like one, steers like one, goes like one, came from BMW franchise...) but often comes up in databases (including BMW GB sometimes) as either a 328i SE or else as a 330i SE...

Which is kind of strange eh?

:? Hi there - I don't actually have a set of the Alpina alloys for an 8 but what I do have in my garage is an immaculate set of the 17" alloys from an 850 CSi - unidirectional throwing star ones, bigger at the rear than the front. Can't remember the alloy sizings but the tyres were 235/45 ZR17 front...

18" or 19" alloys on the E39 B10

Anyone any comparison / preference on whether to stick with the original 18" rims or whether to get the 19" rims that came out I think with the B10V8S? Handling specifically the steering feel, looks, costs of the tyres etc. in the medium term, wear and tear etc.? My new acquisition is in good shape ...

Soon to be selling my own B3 3.3 Saloon if anyone interested

Growing family means that I need to upgrade the space in the family car. I've done things back to front and found an Alpina B10 V8 Touring (details soon to appear on the forum) and so when I get back to the UK (Feb. 10th) I'll need to start selling my B3 Saloon. See the forum for details of the car....
