D4 biturbo number 204 FN66 WSK
Evening all This 2016 B4 number 204 is for sale and my brother is going to see it tomorrow. I’m not posting the link to the advert because if it’s a good car I’d like him to be able to buy it, so sorry, and I hope that doesn’t offend. Despite that, does anybody know this car, and have an opinion as ...

Re: ALPINA @ Silverstone Classic 2021 - Event details & attendees list
Hi Folks. I’m visiting on Sunday. I’ll be sure to come by and say hello. It will be nice to see D3BT number 111 again! I will be coming in my Alpina B3s touring but will have to leave it in the public parking.

Re: F11 Alpina Ride Height Data?
You should find the ride height in your supplementary owners handbook. I don't have an F11, but for my F31 it is in the Dimensions section under "construction height". [FWIW for the F31 B3s Touring the front is 639mm plus or minus 10mm, and the rear is 618mm plus or minus 10mm].

Re: What Connected Drive services do you use?
I use the Real Time Traffic, and have paid to keep that updated. The basic Connected Drive functions don't need a subscription at the moment. The transition to "My BMW" is rather clunky. I have never managed to get an image of a car that looks like my Alpina! Mine is an F31 B3s touring. The \pp imag...

Low pressure fuel pump failure F31 B3s
I had an unexpected drama in my B3s Touring last bank holiday weekend. On a long drive, on an A-road, just as I had completed an overtake, my engine spluttered and lost power. I had just pulled in front of the slower car, and was unable even to maintain the speed he was travelling at. My central scr...

Re: Car Magazine - February 2021
I read this article with interest. It reminded me of our factory visit a few years ago, when Alpina were just launching the E92 B3 Biturbo and they had an Alpina Green II one in the foyer. That's a while back now - 2007, my photos remind me. 121_2191.jpg 121_2180.jpg The W reg B10 3.3 was mine at th...

Utterly gorgeous. I'm a fan of stripes, and have silver stripes on my Alpina blue B3s touring, but your car, without, looks very classy.

Re: D3 #111 Atlantic blue coupe
Hi Kiwi
I owned the car for 7 years and it was really only because my dog didn't like going in the back of it that I got a touring instead. I am very pleased that you are following in the line of people who really look after the car and enjoy it.
Regards (and Happy new year!)

Yes,
These were on the car when I bought it. They are, apparently, a radar detector system. I don't approve of these, and didn't use it.

Purchased, #111 has a new home and will be looked after, thank you sward for the stereo and DAB upgrade. :D Hi Kiwi I only just saw your post. Pleased to hear number 111 has gone to a good home and that you are on here. I hope you will enjoy the car! I did, and so did my brother. My wife still miss...

Re: the last F31 B3S
Slightly less than 57, MattOz :D I'll be less cryptic and more helpful. Sytner advertised what has become my Alpina blue B3S Touring for £52k. I was one of those who expressed interest in it at that price but they agreed a sale to two other people (not at the same time - one after the other) at that...

Re: M3 Touring against B3 touring
I think you either like M cars or B/D cars. I have driven a couple of M3s: test driven with a view to buying - E36 and E46. I found them both a bit hard-edged compared with the 328i of each when I was driving them new. I tried an E92 M3 belonging to a friend. I liked it but always thought the Alpina...
