My main dealer will not use or fit anything not supplied by them including oil. They also lost their works manager to a local indy and subsequently most if not all of the decent mechanics - my car now goes to them except for warranty work. Your pricing seems to be pretty typical of main dealer level...

Have 36k on mine now - issues - well the demist boost fan motor developed an uncomfortable noise and was immediately replaced under warranty, I still think that fitting it disrupted the obc/satnav but they replaced that under warranty also. Otherwise I am completely trouble free and echo Dodgykens c...

Changed mine today - this 'summer' will be trying a full set of Avon's, the PS2's can stay in the roof space for a while longer.

My understanding is that non warranty work (general servicing or repair of non warranty covered parts) can be done by an Indy without effecting the warranty under the block exemption but anything relating to warranty work has to be at a main dealer or you pay for it.

Goodness! I seem to be doing quite well then ... The orange warning light generally appears at about 50 miles range. Filling up at this point is about 55 litres or £75 (for V-Power in these southern parts). Normally, this happens when I have covered about 320 miles (or an economy of about 26.5mpg)...

In my B3 BT I do a regular 230 mile each way run which is mostly motorway - mpg per obc is 35-38. Minimal town driving - I would say 10% - gives me an average over the past 20k miles of 29.3 I not one to 'waste' time travelling and would say more but it is black and black  The B3S did 26.8 on ...
